Additionally, i just found this on their website:
_______________________________________________________
Please be aware that any use of still or video photography filmed on campus for commercial profit or distribution must be reviewed and approved in advance by the Office of Communications and Marketing. The use of still or video images from the campus for advocacy of political positions or candidacies is strictly prohibited.

_______________________________________________________

So while typically limiting commercial photography, which is understandable (and it is a private school, not public), they do NOT mention any prohibitions on private-use photography.

As a former NYIT Westbury studtent, i am sure that there isn't a "no photography" policy, considering that THEY OFFER CLASSES IN PHOTOGRAPHY.

The main problem is, the security staff there have a combined IQ of 12.

They constantly harass the students. We even successful got a restraining order against one of them because they were targeting a female student friend of mine. He was no longer even allowed to patrol the building she was in.

The Luxor in Las Vegas now has a policy prohibiting photography in public areas of the resort. It's a tourist destination, but don't take any photos outside of your room. Idiots.

Scroll to the bottom of the PDF to see if in print:
