by the security guard in front of this building. According to the photographer:
As we passed this building I noticed the cool font and details and decided to take a picture of it. As I did this security guard came outside and started telling me that I couldn’t take pictures of the building. I corrected him saying that seeing that I was standing on a public sidewalk and was in no way, shape or form on their property I could take pictures of anything I wanted – including him since he is standing on a sidewalk and that particular building. He kept coming at us saying that we couldn’t take pictures
When will these building owners tell their security guards to leave photographers alone. There are no laws that prohibit photography of any building from public space. NO EXCEPTIONS except for certain military bases!
