A business that makes money selling aerial pictures of other people’s property has the nerve to complain that taking pictures of its storefront FROM PUBLIC PROPERTY constitutes an “invasion of privacy”.
According to the photographer who posted the story on his blog:
An agent of ours got the ground truth on EagleAerial’s office, here are some pictures. No idea if the cars are associated with the business. Nor the lady, who came out to ask why were were taking photos. She said it was an invasion of privacy. My irony meter went off-scale.
This company has no excuse for not knowing the law, after all they use the law to their advantage to take pictures of anything they can see from the public airspace. How dare they even try to interfere with anyone who photographs their property.
